Are You Tired or Toxic?
Many of us will experience some tiredness, fatigue, head or body aches and won’t give it too much thought. We’ll blame it on too much work, play or stress and not enough sleep or too much junk food.
But what about the people who are routinely tired even though they sleep long hours? What about the people who have body aches or headaches without suffering a specific injury? What about the people who are chronically ill or just don’t feel as good as they want to?
The facts are that conditions such as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), Fibromyalgia (FM), Headaches and other mysterious chronic illnesses have become some of the leading reasons people visit a doctor. Unfortunately, frustration is rapidly rising among this population as they are repeatedly told by their doctor that “the tests are normal” or “I can’t find anything wrong with you.”
There clearly must be something wrong or else a visit to the doctor wouldn’t have been considered necessary in the first place! The problem is that most doctors are so focused on symptom management that they frequently forget that there is actually a reason for their patients’ complaints. And those reasons are certainly not due to a deficiency of medication!
Aside from the stress of living our very busy lives, what is causing all of the CFS, FM and other mysterious, chronic health issues? Poor nutrition and Toxins! Our generation is the first in human history to be exposed to an unprecedented amount of chemicals in our food, air, water, soil and environment.
These toxins include but are not limited to artificial flavors and preservatives in food and beverages, chemicals in shampoo, lotions, perfumes, household cleaning products, mold at home or work and airborne pollution from machines and factories. Additionally, the medications that are routinely prescribed contain numerous compounds that can be injurious to many cells altering their ability to function normally resulting in many unwanted side effects.
Every tissue, organ and gland in our body is affected by the daily onslaught of toxic exposure that can often result in dysfunction within our body.
For example, the liver can lose its ability to effectively detoxify or remove harmful substances from the body. The blood can become thick with metabolic waste material reducing the delivery of helpful nutrients to cells in favor of waste material The adrenal glands are often forced to work overtime resulting in more fatigue and stress.
The brain can suffer from low oxygen and poor nutrition resulting in anxiety, depression, mood swings, poor memory, confusion and brain fog. The intestines frequently won’t eliminate waste material in a timely and efficient manner resulting in malabsorption, yeast over growth, and other gastrointestinal problems.
These are only a few examples of the problems created by even limited exposure to toxins. Don’t despair however, because help is available. Several methods of detoxification are currently available that will encourage the removal of toxins while nourishing your body to perform at a higher level.
Four primary steps are most effective at improving health through the removal of toxins. These four steps are I.D.N.S..
1. Identify: by utilizing your medical history, physical exams and specific lab tests, we can more clearly define what toxins are present and what bodily systems are being affected.
2. Detoxify: This is the process by which we encourage the removal of toxins via the lungs, liver, colon, kidneys and skin.
3. Nutrify: Here we provide your body with the nutrients it requires and may be deficient in.
4. Standby: Do not over treat! Once we have followed the first three steps, we can stand by and allow your body the opportunity to regenerate and rejuvenate.
If you are tired, fatigued or just don’t seem to feel as energetic or vital as you once did, think about giving IDNS a try. It has helped many hundreds of people when other methods proved unsuccessful.
